Magic Icebreaker Part II
Three Basic Moves
1. Introduction
In this section you will learn the Three Basic LazyMagician Moves. If you don't already have the materials to make the LazyMagician Coin Gimmick yet, just read the text and view the videos.
The LazyMagician Palm
The LazyMagician Wipe
The LazyMagician Back Palm
2. Move Number One: The LazyMagician Palm
Ok, now that you have learned your first trick, its time to get down to the first basic move. This is the basic move that nearly all tricks are based on. Watch the video's first, then follow the written discussion if any.

I recommend you start off with the LazyMagician "Slide" Palm first, until your comfortable with it, then move onto the LazyMagician "Classic" Palm. In the end, you will definitely want to learn the "Classic" version..it's faster, smoother, looks better and there is less of a chance of it being noticed. But there is no problem with starting with the "Slide" version just to get comfortable. Here are some additional points to think about.

Practice this until you get it perfect. Look into a mirror, or record yourself with a webcam or video camera to ensure you see the angle the audience sees. Those who practice without a mirror or camera, only looking from their own viewpoint, don't realize they are not looking from the audience perspective and end up revealing the secret. It has become a habit with me, I walk around all day long from one place to another practicing this move. Then I check in front of a mirror or camera. It's fun, and the more you do it, the better you will get.
3. Move Number Two: The LazyMagician Wipe
While the LazyMagician Palm is the cornerstone of all the tricks, THIS move is what sets LazyMagician Coin Vanishes apart from all others. This is the move that proves to the audience that your hands are empty once you make the coin vanish. Its the second shoe that hits them like a ton of bricks when they start trying to piece together how it's done.

This move is virtually impossible to do with traditional sleight of hand magic and the reason why the LazyMagician Coin Vanishes can be done up-close without diversions or the need to "dump" the coin.
Simply put, it's a thing of beauty when perfected, so practice it until it is 100 percent perfect.
The LazyMagician Palm and Wipe are the two moves which all tricks are based on. These are the two that you NEED to be able to do, PERFECTLY every time! Practice, Practice, Practice!!!! I recommend you do attempt any of the other moves until you get these two down perfectly.
4. Move Number Three: The LazyMagician Back Palm
It is not really necessary to learn this move right away and is a bit more difficult than the LazyMagician Palm or Wipe. But don't worry, it's not even close to the level of difficulty of the traditional sleight of hand "Back Palm". Recommend you skip this for now and move onto some of the tricks in the next chapter that don't require it, then come back and learn it when your ready to learn some of the advanced tricks. Either way, take a look at the video now.

5. Additional Moves
This section contains additional moves that you don't need to learn if you don't want to. They just add a bit of flare and flexibility to your routines. Recommend come back to these once you have mastered the three basic moves and the tricks associated with them. In any case, take a look at the video now.

6. Make Up Your Own Moves
Once your comfortable with all the moves and tricks, make up some of your own moves. The possibilities are endless. The next section will teach you step-by-step the Vanishes and tricks using the LazyMagician Moves you learned here.
LazyMagician Coin Vanishes
1. Introduction
In this section you will learn how to do the following LazyMagician tricks;
Coin Flip
Classic Vanish
Coin Through Hand
Coin Through Glass
Which Hand Bar Bet
Half-Dollar to Dime Transport
Recommend you go through each of the tricks one at a time, viewing the video's at first, just to satisfy your curiosity, then go back and learn each one in order. Don't move onto the next one until you have perfected the previous trick! And, don't be lured into showing anyone the tricks until you have perfected each one! You will truly regret it if you "rush to perform.
REALLY....DON'T DO IT!!
2. The LazyMagician Coin Flip
This is the same trick you learned earlier..... I include it again so all the tricks are in one section for easy reference. Skip it if you have already seen it. This is the easiest LazyMagician trick to learn, because there really is no "move" to learn. Check out the video, and you will see what I mean. You will be doing this trick in minutes!

3. The LazyMagician Classic Vanish
This trick uses the LazyMagician Palm and Wipe moves that you practiced in the previous section. This is really the money-maker and the core of all LazyMagician Coin Vanishes. If you learn no other coin vanish, LEARN THIS ONE! If you get it down, people will think you have been practicing sleight of hand for years.

So get at it... create some new moves, or just modify the old ones and create some new tricks for the rest of us.
